Home Run - July 28, 2024

I hit my first home run over the fence as a 14 year old, playing on the 18U Mass Legacy team. It was a game-winning, 3-run dinger, landing on top of a car. We moved on to the semi finals; my team, coaches and family were so excited.  Me too!

Silver Lake Freshman Softball - 2025

So thrilled to be a Laker and play softball for Coach Burke on the Silver Lake Regional High School freshman softball team.

I am happy to be batting .500 and hope to get even better as the season continues.

I am the starting short stop and have played a little at third base too.

South Shore Patriots - Fall 2024

As the only freshman, I joined the South Shore Patriots 16U Silver team, the program’s best of the best.  I was sad to learn in the winter that the team fell apart.

In the fall, we started 6 and 0 and then lost in the championship game of our first tournament.  The second tournament we went 3 and 0 on Saturday (and I hit my first double with the SSP, but lost in a 1-run game on Sunday.  I played SS, 3B, 2B and a little in the outfield.

Mass Legacy - Summer 2024

In 2024, I was 14 years old playing for the 18U Mass Legacy team.

Most games I started at 3rd or 2nd base.  I had clutch hits, and was making great contact, so, as the season wrapped up, the coaches had me bat 4th in the lineup.

We enjoyed traveling to lots of showcase and invitational softball tournaments.

Kingston - Spring and Summer 2024

On my Kingston spring team a good highlight was when I went 4 for 4, comprised of 4 extra base hits, including a triple.  Later, I helped us win a playoff game.

I also helped my summer 14U Kingston All-Star team win our semi finals game, but unfortunately we lost in the championship.  So close.

We had a great time playing all season and competing in some summer tournaments.

Mass Legacy - Spring, Summer and Fall 2023

In the fall, as a 13-year-old, I played on the 18U Mass Legacy team.  In my first showcase tournament, I did so well on Saturday, my coaches batted me 4th in the line up on Sunday.  Then I got a line-drive hit off the other team’s best pitcher who was 4 years older than me.

Before that, my first travel program was the 14U Mass Legacy team.  I was the lead-off hitter, started at short stop and played a little at 3rd and 1st base too.

Kingston - Spring and Summer 2023

Just 5 days apart, in June of 2023, my two teams won two 1st place trophies: my Kingston Thunder team won our spring league and then my Kingston All-Star team won the Kingston Invitational tournament.

I was really improving at softball, plus I like to help others, so I started my private coaching for younger girls.

Highlights - 2022

In my first summer softball experience, my Silver Lake team went undefeated, with a record of 12 and 0!

A happy memory was when one time my brother and I were both awarded ‘Most Valuable Player’ on the same night.  Hitting a grand slam was special too.

I participated in and helped mentor the younger players during the Kingston baseball and softball clinic.

I joined my first club softball team (Mass Legacy) that fall.

My softball start

During the pandemic, my dad would take my brother and I to play at the baseball field.  I learned to hit baseballs.  My dad also created and ran a fun baseball clinic in Kingston, which he had me join.

Then I was finally brave enough to give softball a try, so I started playing in the fall of 2021, when I was 11.

I am thankful that one cousin gave me her old bat and helmet, another cousin gave me a bat and lots of softballs, plus I used my Dad’s softball glove.

Watch my first time batting, stealing and stepping on home at Fenway Park.  I guess I was already a Red Sox fan and softball player before I was even born.
